1-on-1 Consultations

Nutritional Consultations

Your health and performance needs will be addressed by an integrated body-systems approach called Nutritional Therapy. You will be sent a detailed health questionnaire to fill in prior to the first consultation. The first consultation lasts for 90mins and involves a thorough health history, an explanation of potential health imbalances and a discussion of nutritional strategies to proceed with. Follow-up sessions are normally 1-4 weeks later and involve further refinement of your diet, potential use of nutritional supplements and laboratory testing if the information is likely to be helpful.

Ian Craig also applies the use of Nutritional Therapy into Sports Nutrition and this approach has been termed Functional Sports Nutrition. It focuses on the underlying health of the athlete, which provides support to the specific performance-based strategies used in sport. Ian is the editor of the UK magazine Functional Sports Nutrition.
